2026 Mandatory Connecticut Real Estate License Law Course Available Online

One of the most common questions asked by Connecticut agents and brokers is where they can complete the current mandatory continuing ed course. Importantly, the name of the 2024-2026 mandatory course is “CT Real Estate License Law“, not to be confused with CT Real Estate Agency Law, the title for the previous (2022-24) cycle.

Another frequently asked question we receive is “What are the continuing ed requirements for the 2024-2026 renewal cycle?”. We previously published an article on that here or you can see the same requirements outlined below in this article.

Every renewal cycle requires a new mandatory course (or course). The 2024-2026 Connecticut renewal cycle requires one three-credit course, CT Real Estate License Law, the remaining nine credits can be comprised of elective courses. Additionally, the mandatory course must be completed live or live-online (eg Zoom). You may recall from prior cycles that it was difficult to find an available spot in a class as the license renewal deadlines approached, so don’t wait until the last minute to complete your continuing ed. Also, don’t forget to complete nine credits of electives. Whichever course you choose, be sure they are approved by DCP – not all schools and courses are approved for continuing ed in Connecticut. Keep Me Certified’s catalog of courses offered in Connecticut are each fully approved.

Keep Me Certified is an online real estate school, fully approved by CT DCP, offering all 12 credits online. The three credit mandatory course, CT Real Estate License Law, is being offered via Zoom at least a few times per month and more frequently as the CE deadlines approach.

As of the end of 2025, Keep Me Certified is offering the CT Real Estate License Law course for $25 and the full 12 credit package of courses for $70. You can learn more and enroll here.

The continuing ed deadlines for the 24-2026 cycle have changed. Brokers must be complete their continuing ed by August 31, 2026 and Salespersons must complete their continuing ed by February 28, 2026. The late penalty for completing your required ce after these deadlines is HUGE, so don’t be late as there is no grace period. In the previous renewal cycle it is rumored that the state collected over $250,000 in late continuing ed completion fines.

At Keep Me Certified our new and updated elective courses are fully approved by DCP and available on-demand, so you can start and stop at your convenience. Want to get started at 2am? No problem, any time of day from anywhere in the world with a decent internet connection. Our CT Real Estate License Law course is being offered via Zoom to comply with DCP requirements for the current renewal cycle.
